This Privacy Policy explains how CrowdFame (“CrowdFame,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our event and vendor-marketplace platform (the “Service”).

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide: name, email address, and password.
  • Business and profile details: business name, location, website, social links, and a phone number you optionally provide.
  • Event and transaction activity: events you create or join and space purchases.
  • Device and usage data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process payments and vendor payouts through our payment processors.
  • To send you service communications — including email, push notifications, and, where you have opted in, SMS text messages.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in, we and event organizers you have a relationship with may send you text messages related to your account and the events you create or join (for example, application updates, booking confirmations, and event reminders).

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
  • Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our operations (such as our SMS provider Twilio and our customer-service tools) is permitted solely to deliver these messages. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for their own purposes.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (payment processing, messaging, search, analytics, and CRM), with event organizers and vendors as needed to facilitate bookings, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

Your choices
