Katie Flores is a prolific and passionate painter with a natural eye for color and spatial relationships. She has been described as a "color prodigy". Katie was born in 1994 and was diagnosed with autism at age 3. For many years she was highly frustrated because she experienced the intensity and vibrancy of life but had no creative outlet. As soon as Katie picked up a paint brush and felt the viscosity of paint under her hand something clicked. Her craft has now become a powerful mode of expression. Katie began exhibiting her work in 2019. Katie has participated in many San Diego markets and her paintings and merchandise are also available to purchase on her website.
